The iconic and often eccentric S. Korean fashion designer, Andre Kim (앙드레김), has passed away at the age of 75 (Korean age). Having had surgery in the past for colorectal/colon cancer, he was hospitalized last month for a bout of pneumonia. Despite all best efforts, Kim's health deteriorated and he died while receiving treatment in Seoul National University Hospital. He is most well known for his lavish designs and dramatic catwalk fashion shows featuring extravagant gowns and wedding dresses.
