Riding the Korean Wave
This month's background features the trio JYJ aka 재중 (Jae Jung), 유천 (Yu Chun), and 준수 (Jun Su) from 동방신기 (DBSK). Fans worldwide are anticipating their first full length English album, The Beginning, which is expected to arrive October 12th. The album boasts collaborations with top U.S. producers Kanye West and Rodney Jerkins.

I don't really mean to quote Britney Spears in a Trax post, but the fact of the matter is that I am head over heels for their latest mini-album 오! 나의 여신님 (Oh! My Goddess). I just can't get enough of it, so the whole give me more sentiment works well here.
Last month's background spotlighted YG Entertainment's girl group powerhouse 2NE1. Their September comeback was unique in that they set out to promote three title tracks off their first full length album, To Anyone.
One of Hollywood's iconic films, Ghost, has received the Asian treatment. Paramount Japan helms the project with Japanese leading actress, Nanako Matsushima, and one of Japan's favorite Hallyu stars, Song Seung Heon, in the starring roles.
